You might think I'm joking, but honestly this is for real. With the recent recycling law in place and in full effect, Kaneohe market seems to have taken it to the next level. You know how they have the "leave a penny, take a penny" jars on store counters? Well, you know you're in Kaneohe when the market that bears the towns name has a "take a can leave a can" box. Who would want to take a can?

You know you're in Kaneohe when there are two Aloha Gas Stations right across the street from eachother.

You know you're in Kane'ohe when you see a handwritten sign like this in a store. Kane'ohe Market is in the heart of Kane'ohe town, when you're in there be sure to check out this sign advising people that they are not allowed to carry alcohol when in their store if you are under the age of 21. The sign reads: Attention Customer If not 21 yrs old Can not Carry beer or Liquor. After creating the sign, someone put a caret to make the sign read "If {you're} not..." Yet they decided not to fix "Can not."

Sears Van

You know you're in Kaneohe when you see a Sears van parked in the Windward Mall parking lot that looks like the back half of it got struck by an avalanche. This van has been here for months, and one has to wonder how this happened.

Zippy's

You know you're in Kane'ohe when you see Christmas decoration on only 1 light during April at the Zippy's. Why didn't they take this one down?
